Anna Charee Hoskins is a West Michigan artist whose abstract works on Mylar use charcoal, paint, line, and layered mixed media to give form to emotional memory, conflict, connection, faith, and the unseen forces that shape a life.

Charee works from an intuitive and responsive process in which forms accumulate, shift, erase, and return. The resulting works hold tension between density and openness, fragility and force, darkness and light. They offer viewers a visual field in which private experience can become recognition, reflection, and connection.
